In April 1937, "Kodama Clothing Industries" was established in his hometown of Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture. His passion changed drastically with the times. In May 1942, during World War II, the company was merged with "Bingo Dai-21 Hifuku Limited," a national policy company for manufacturing military uniforms. After the war, the company switched to work and school uniforms, and in 1965 became "Asahicho Textile Co. Ltd. in 1965, and changed its name to Asahicho Corporation in April 2021.

We have been providing advanced workwear that meets the needs of the times and the workplace environment, such as "Kyokusen®" cold-weather clothing, "Gore-Tex®" breathable and waterproof clothing, "Pocketless®" foreign object prevention workwear, highly visible safety clothing, flame-resistant workwear, "Yoloi Works®" denim workwear, and "e.z.UP®" assist suits.

In the manufacturing division, we have consistently emphasized the importance of domestic factories in the face of the hollowing out of the manufacturing industry in Japan, and today we maintain a group of directly managed domestic factories that is unparalleled by other companies in our industry. Recently, the denim workwear "YOROI WORKS®" has come into the limelight as an all-made-in-Japan product, from materials to sewing. Company History

1937. Saburo Kodama founded Kodama Clothing Industries in Fuchu City.
1942 Under the Corporate Control Order, Bingo No. 21 Clothing Co.
1954. Moved to a new head office at the present location.
1959 Osaka Sales Office is established.
1964 New head office building completed.
1965. The company is reorganized and renamed Asahicho Textile Co.
1968. Headquarters plant completed.
1974 Tokyo Liaison Office is established in Tokyo.
1981 Kozo Kodama is appointed president.
2002 Osaka and Tokyo sales offices moved to new address.
Obtained ISO 14001 certification.
2009 Moved to new address of Osaka Sales Office.
2011 Kenji Kodama is appointed president.
2019 ISO 9001 certification.
Year 2021 Company name changed to Asahicho Corporation.

Asahicho Corporation was founded in April 1937 in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture as Kodama Clothing Industry. We have been manufacturing advanced workwear in Bingo Fuchu, known as a manufacturing town, making the most of our accumulated experience and achievements. Workwear requires a wide range of performance and functionality, including safety, comfort, durability, visibility, and design. We at Asahicho fuse these requirements at a high level to provide the best workwear for workers.
