What is "Windstopper® Fabrics"?

The material is made by laminating a knit material and other materials to a highly windproof material (Windstopper® membrane) that keeps cold winds from blowing inside, and can be used for a wide range of purposes from full-scale outdoor activities to town use.

High wind resistance

The "Windstopper® membrane" has a three-dimensional, spider-web-like structure that disperses wind clumps, preventing wind from entering the garment and enhancing wind resistance.

The WINDSTOPPER® membrane has billions of pores in a square inch, each about 900 times the size of a water vapor molecule. This allows water vapor from perspiration to quickly dissipate, making it highly moisture permeable and resistant to steam.

What is a Membrane?

Stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) made by drawing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) from fluorite, a natural ore.

Gore-Tex material can be washed at home
Maintenance instructions for long and comfortable use

After wearing, the garment may be contaminated with sweat, sebum, mud, etc.
If left untreated, it can cause functional deterioration and odor.
Regular washing and maintenance will ensure longer and more comfortable use. If the water repellency has decreased with repeated wear, we recommend the maintenance listed on the right along with washing.

Method 1: Dry clothes in a dryer with warm air
Method 2: Heat treatment such as ironing at low temperature (with a cloth/no steam)
