Duties

Major Responsibilities: I am in charge of sales activities to sell workwear and other products to customers of distributors in the Kinki area. I am also responsible for maintaining ISO 9001 certification, the international standard for quality management systems, as the person in charge of quality control within the company.

Job satisfaction

The best part is when we get a large order for a product that we proposed after listening to the customer's request, I feel that all my efforts have been rewarded.

Also, since workwear is a continuous product, there are many users who have been wearing the same product for more than 10 years, and I often receive compliments on products I have worn for a long time, which I find very rewarding. In addition, as a sales representative, I travel to the area I am in charge of and learn about the local area while communicating with customers and enjoying the beautiful scenery on the way.

Stories of hardship and failure

When I first became a sales representative (more than 15 years ago), there were many older veteran sales representatives in the Kyushu area (Nippo Line) that I was in charge of, and I honestly sometimes felt intimidated because they had more knowledge and career in the industry than I did. But now I think that the salesman in charge was a young rookie, and he taught me a lot of things to help me adjust to the industry quickly, such as local industry information and what kind of work is done at the agency on a day-to-day basis. When I was in charge of the Tohoku region, I had a hard time communicating with people there because I did not understand the local dialect.

Future Goals and Dreams

I would like to continue to listen to my customers in a friendly manner, respond to their needs and problems in a courteous manner, and develop the kind of human qualities that will make them recognize my value and say, "I want to ask you for help. Also, personally, I still have a mortgage on my own home, so my goal is to work hard and pay it off as soon as possible (lol).
